Beekley has developed a line of nipple, scar, mole and palpable mass markers that image brightly on film and allow doctors to pinpoint the exact area of interest on your mammogram. These markers attach painlessly to the skin, similar to a band-aid, and come off just as easily. Your doctor can use these markers yearly to chart known, non-cancerous areas, as well as isolate non-stationery masses. If your doctor uses markers consistently, your chances of being called back for a second mammogram are greatly reduced.
